Which browsers does this work in?
The file is opened by your browser, so it must be a browser that can display AVIF. Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari can. Older browsers will show a message that the file could not be converted.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. Convert to PNG if you need to keep them.
Can I choose the quality?
Yes. High, Balanced and Small file are available. Lower quality gives a smaller file with more visible compression.
