Rotate and Flip Images
Turn a sideways photo upright or mirror it. Your pictures stay on your device.
- Runs in your browser
- No sign-up
- No watermark
Rotate Image turns pictures by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and can flip them left to right or top to bottom. A live preview shows the result before you save. Choose several files and they all get the same change.
Everything runs in your browser. Rotating by a quarter turn does not scale the picture, but JPG and WebP files are saved again, so they are encoded once more.
How to use Rotate Image
- Choose one or more images, or drop them onto the box.
- Pick a rotation and, if you want, flip horizontally or vertically. Check the preview.
- Choose an output format, or keep the original.
- Select Apply to images, then download each file or all of them as a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are rotated in your browser and never sent to a server.
Can I rotate by any angle?
No. Only 90, 180 and 270 degrees are offered, plus horizontal and vertical flips. Free angles would leave empty corners.
Can I rotate many photos at once?
Yes. The same rotation is applied to every file you choose, and you can download a ZIP.
Does rotating lower the quality?
PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP are compressed again at a high quality, so a very small loss is possible.
Why does my photo look sideways here but fine in my gallery?
Phones often store a photo sideways with a note saying how to turn it. Most apps and browsers follow that note. Turn the picture here and the result is saved the right way up with the pixels actually rotated.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no daily limit.
