Grayscale, Sepia and Invert Image

Apply a simple filter and see it before you save. Your picture stays on your device.

  • Runs in your browser
  • No sign-up
  • No watermark

This tool changes the look of a picture in four ways: grayscale, sepia, invert (a colour negative), or a brightness and contrast adjustment. A preview updates as you move the controls, so you can see the result before you save.

The filter runs in your browser on the full-size image, and the file is not uploaded. It is a quick adjustment tool, not a full photo editor.

How to use Image Filters

  1. Choose an image, or drop it onto the box.
  2. Pick Grayscale, Sepia, Invert or None, and set brightness and contrast if you like.
  3. Check the live preview.
  4. Select Apply filter, then download the result.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded?

No. The filter is applied in your browser and the image never leaves your device.

Can I adjust brightness without a filter?

Yes. Choose None and move the brightness and contrast sliders.

Can I combine a filter with brightness?

Yes. The brightness and contrast settings are applied together with the filter you pick.

Does it keep the original size?

Yes. Width and height stay the same. The preview is smaller only to stay quick.

Can I edit several images at once?

This tool works on one image at a time, so you can judge the preview.

Does transparency survive?

It does when you save as PNG or WebP. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become a solid colour.
