Text to PDF lays plain text onto pages. Paste text or load a .txt file, choose a font, a size, A4 or US Letter, the margins and the line spacing. Long lines wrap to fit the page, and the text moves on to a new page when one is full. Line breaks and blank lines are kept.
The PDF uses built-in fonts (Helvetica, Times and Courier), which cover Latin letters, numbers and common symbols, including accented letters used in Western European languages. Other alphabets such as Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew and Chinese, as well as emoji, are not supported, and the tool warns you and replaces those characters with a question mark. Your text is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Is my text uploaded?
No. The PDF is made in your browser and your text never leaves your device.
Which languages work?
English and other languages that use Latin letters with the usual accents, such as French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and emoji do not work, and those characters become a question mark.
Does it add page numbers or headings?
No. The text is placed on the pages as it is. Use the PDF page numbers tool on the result if you need numbers.
How does it handle long lines?
Lines wrap at word breaks to fit the page width. A single word that is wider than the page is split across lines.
Can I use bold, italic or colours?
No. This tool makes plain black text only, with one font for the whole document.
Is there a size limit?
A loaded .txt file can be up to 5 MB. Very long text takes a little longer to turn into pages.
