Frequently asked questions
Is my image uploaded?
No. The crop is made in your browser and the picture never leaves your device.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The box responds to touch, so you can drag and resize it with your finger.
Is the cropped image lower quality?
The pixels are cut from the original, not scaled. A JPG is saved again, so it is re-encoded once. Choose PNG for no quality loss.
How do I crop to an exact size?
Type the left, top, width and height in pixels under the picture. The box updates to match.
Can I crop several images at once?
No. Cropping needs you to choose an area on each picture, so it works one image at a time.
Can I rotate the image while cropping?
No. Rotate the image first with the Rotate Image tool, then crop it.
