The ZIP is not password protected or encrypted. Whole folders cannot be dropped, so add the files inside them. Because the archive is built in memory, the total is limited to 1 GB.

Can I protect the ZIP with a password?
No. This tool cannot add a password or encryption. Use a desktop archiver such as 7-Zip if you need that.
Which compression level should I use?
Balanced suits most files. Smallest takes longer for a slightly smaller result. Store only skips compression, which is quick and fits files that are already compressed, like JPG, MP4 or PDF.
Can I zip a whole folder?
Not directly. Select the files inside the folder and add them. Folder structure is not kept, because every file goes at the top level of the ZIP.
Is there a size limit?
The files together can be up to 1 GB. The archive is built in your device memory, so very large sets may be slow on phones.
What if two files have the same name?
The second one is renamed with a number, such as photo (2).jpg, so nothing is overwritten.
